Home of the Clinchfield 100 business Car! This is the official Facebook page of the Watauga Valley Railroad Society and Museum located in Johnson City, Tennessee. The WVC has been serving Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and Northwest North Carolina for over 40 years. The region is rich with railroad history and at one time several railroads traversed the area, up until the days of the mega-mergers that left us with only two major railroads, NS and CSX. We formally meet the fourth Monday of each month at the Chuckey Depot Museum in Jonesborough, TN. There are work sessions each Tuesday and Saturday on our vintage passenger equipment.
