About Group

Created on 15 November 2008, this group was formed as a gathering place for stationary engineers and operators working with boilers, steam turbines, refrigeration systems, and related industrial equipment. It welcomes professionals across all titles and classifications, offering a space to share experiences, troubleshoot challenges, and connect with others in the field.

The community’s mission is to support practical learning, problem-solving, and camaraderie among engineers who keep facilities running safely and efficiently. Recent posts reflect hands-on maintenance work, equipment upgrades, technical questions, safety concerns, and career milestones, creating an atmosphere that is both knowledgeable and grounded in real-world operations.

The group is managed by Michael Bara, Alexander Karnes, and Tom Bates, who help maintain a respectful and professional environment for members across the trade.
